Ten years ago I released a record called “Maintenant” by Gigi. It was a bunch of songs I made up in a “classic, girl group-style” recorded live in the studio with a bunch of guest singers and musicians. A fun, collaborative project that still feels pretty dang special to me today. I randomly just decided to put together the demos I made for the album along with some alternate mixes to create a parallel universe version where I’m singing everything. Why not? It’s the Bandcamp artist relief fundraiser today and I’ll probably keep this up here for a few days? Maybe a week? Forever?? Keeping it loose in these weird times.
